One Second

My daughter Giovanna started One Second for a class project on impaired driving. She kept running into the same thing. Students already know the statistics, and it doesn't change what they do on a Saturday night. Real stories do. So the site puts first-person interviews front and center, with the facts and costs close by.

I designed and built the site for her using Base44, an AI app builder. There's a page for the films, a Learn section on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, and a page for schools with ready-to-use policy language, a note for families and a printable completion log, so a school can tie the film to getting a parking permit. I went with a dark, cinematic look so it feels like it was made for teenagers, not a health class.
